Storm Amy Update - 2nd October
Met Éireann has issued weather warnings in advance of Storm Amy, with orange and yellow level alerts expected in some counties. In preparation, we have activated our weather protocols to minimise any potential disruption.
- Our technicians are ready for redeployment where needed and ready to respond swiftly.
- Additional resources are on standby to respond to calls to our Dangerous Plant Line (1800 245 245).
- Generators have been repositioned into the highest risk areas.
- We are working closely with ESB to ensure rapid restoration of services if required.
- Contractors are on notice and can scale up operations if required.
Technicians will remain active throughout, but as always, their safety is the priority, and work will only proceed when conditions allow.
